Jack Flashback 2012: April

Spring was in the air. We spent most of our days at the rescue, enjoying the fresh air (and pollen) and “de-winterizing” all the kennels. We did devote one weekend to a great fundraiser.

SweetWater Fest

We took a gamble by participating in SweetWater Fest, a “non-dog” special event – and what a great payoff! Even though dogs weren’t allowed in the park this year, plenty of people with plenty of smartphones had plenty of photos of their dogs to share. We kicked off our cabin raffle and actually made a dent in our vet bill … for the month, at least. We can’t wait to for next year’s festival. See you there!
