Apple’s story written by Joy:
Apple was almost 17 (when she passed), and we’ve had her since she was 8 months old. She was my Christmas gift to David in 2005, and I remember working back-to-back doubles at the restaurant to save the $175 it cost to adopt her from the lady on Craigslist. I kept calling saying “please don’t give her to anyone else, I’m coming” and I did.
She brought us so much joy. She was with us through college, graduation, moving states, first jobs, buying a house, and walking down the aisle (she was at our wedding!)
We already miss her more than we can express. I know she’s in heaven eating puppy pancakes with her brother Mac.
Love you forever baby girl, you did good. Go rest. ❤️
