Deacon (Formerly Jax)
It’s been almost 6 months that Deacon (fka “Jax”) has been with us, and I can’t remember what life was like before he came into our lives. He has the best and most entertaining personality, and is the life of every party. Those ears! That smile! I could gush on and on about this guy.
Deacon has, from the beginning, been the best of both worlds – he is as lazy as Sundays get but then ready to go at any moment’s notice (on particularly rainy days, we play fetch in the hallway). The only thing he loves more than a good chew toy is the car; he goes on almost all of our adventures and can always be found in his spot atop the middle console.
He has plenty of four-legged friends in the neighborhood, and we are lucky enough to have friends and family willing to watch him if we can’t take him somewhere – both of which have pups of their own that Deacon plays with nonstop. He is the happiest dog we know and can’t imagine not having him. He seems to have been tailor-made for us!
