Sugar

Last year, my family lost our sweet girl, Sharly, after a long battle with bladder cancer. We had her for 15 wonderful years and we’re devastated when she passed. We decided to go to the rescue in Conyers to look at a particular dog. Great dog but not the right fit.

We were just about to leave when someone said, “I think we have the perfect dog for you. Her name is Sugar.” Whoever named her was right on point! She is the sweetest dog and wanted nothing more than to be loved back.

We took her home, along with our other jack, Pooky, and she fell right into place. We’ve had the fights and scuffles, but that’s because she doesn’t like to share me. She is definitely a mama’s girl, but will take belly rubs from anyone! We go boating and swimming and for rides in the RV. She loves to visit grandma and chase all the critters at her house in the woods.

We couldn’t have picked a better dog! She has filled a very empty, sad space in our hearts, and we are grateful for GA JRT rescue for helping us find her!
